  1. 1. I wouldn’t like living in a world without colors, it would be so boring and lame. I personally would think it’s a bad thing.

    2. I think they will become more distant and farther apart because Jonas’s job doesn’t allow them to hang out or talk as much as they used to anymore.

    3. I think the color red signals the start of when Jonas faces big changes in his life.

    4. I think people should always be able to make their own choices. Even if they’re wrong, it’s a choice they made. This would allow them to learn from their mistakes so that next time, they would be more careful and choose the right choices for themselves.

    5. I think it’s fine. It shows us how societal rules are strictly enforced.

  4. 1) Personally I think that not having a choice of colors is a bad thing because we use colors to express ourselves and it would definitely be very boring living without colors.
    2) Yeah, probably, because he will start seeing things differently and start disagreeing about things with Fiona and Asher, causing them to lose their friendship.
    3) I think that red represents life and liveliness in the world, because black and white pretty much drains out all the life in the community. Jonas seeing flashes of red means that he is slowly seeing another part of life that people in his community doesn’t see.
    4) I do find it scary for us to choose wrong. However, we must make wrong choices to thrive in life and appreciate the good things. We can’t be shield from the world all the time.
    5) I agree with it because people really need to be respectful sometimes and this rule helps that.

  5. 1. I think a world without color would be horribly boring. Taking all the colors away wasn’t necessary a good or bad thing since which color is better is a opinion so a perfect color would be no color at all.
    2. I think they will be further apart since Jonas is different from them in feelings and thoughts.
    3. I think the color red represent love and life that used to be there in the world before. And in Jonas’s world it’s so rare.
    4. People making their own choices was not really a great decision, they can make a mistake, but still mistakes are what they learn and grow from. If they choose wrong, they’ll learn, they will have expiriences to become more mature.
    5. I think it’s OK to touch the people out of your own family unit because people can be socialize. Still, being respectful to others should be consider.
