1. Jonas’ feeling when he didn’t receive his Assignment yet is anxious, scared, terrified.
2. In my opinion, the last Receiver of Memories had broken some sort of rules that is very important and major to the community.
3. The emotions that Jonas have when he got the Assignment are relieved, happy, angry(maybe?).
4. The Receiver of Memory assignment get so much respect because he’s the advisor of all the Elders. He tell them what should be done when they’re having trouble.
5. The Elders believed Jonas is the right one for this Assignment because he has all the requirements of a Receiver: intelligence, integrity, courage, wisdom, the Capacity to See Beyond.
