1. The game was called “War”, and he saw the boy who was dying on the battlefield in his mind.
2. The Giver got the tape by asking for it. The old Receiver, Rosemary, asked the Chief Elder to be released. The Giver felt very devastated and angry when Rosemary was released.

The Reciever 10 years ago named was Rosemary she asked to be released because she can’t handle the pain of loneliness. The Giver never saw her again and he was really sad because he loved her.

The memories will be spread throughout the community and the people will be very confuse and don’t know what to do with the memories.

Jonas’ friends were playing a game of good guys and bad guys. The game was harmless but Jonas saw the game as a game of war. He saw the bleeding/wounded child in his memory.
