in the beginning, Zack was just a kid that found out he’s has the power to see ghost. Next, Zack and his stepmother Judy went into a theater called the Hanging Hill theater. Later, he found a friend called Meghan and went on a journey to look deeper in this theater. After that, he discovered there were a ghost in this place because like Meghan said,“ghosts like to go to the theater when they die.” Finally, he solved the mystery and helped Sassakus the ghost find his daughter.

Lily connect Jonas between Katniss. They have sort of the same kind of community and heart Mickey did her part which is Visualizer, she’s said when Jonas meet the Giver in his house. 1. When I read these chapters, I have the connection when I am an important person in a group of my friend, the feeling of a leader, of “a hero wants to save the world.”
2.The Hunger Game is the same think as these chapters, only Katniss is the only one wants to change and steps up to save the world.

Chapter 20
– When Jonas said he don’t want to go home it reminds of when i was at my grandma house and all of my cousin are there and we are having a lot of fun. But my mom told me to go home it make me felt sad and desperately to stay at my grandma house because i don’t want the fun to end. When Jonas and the Giver plan out so Jonas could escape to Elsewhere that remind me of when my dad told me and my sister to plan out for the summer. What is the goal for summer and what to do.
Chapter 21
– When Jonas sneak out from his dwelling out to took his father bike to carried Gabriel with him to the bridge. That remind me of when i can’t sleep or can’t do any of my homework and sneakily went open the door and went outside then sit their some bicycle driver went back and forth. Then i would wonder around near my place and drive the kids toy while listening to music. The reason why i sneak out was because my dad would usually not let me went outside at night.
– This part relate to the part that came before it because before he went through the bridge to went somewhere else, Jonas and the Giver plan out how to escape and went Elsewhere.
Chapter 22
– In this chapter Jonas ankle twisted and his knee were scrape blooding coming out from his knee. This part remind me of when i was a 4 years old little girl who went with my cousin to the supermarket. While sitting i realise there’s blood soaking through my pants that i wear. Then i pull my pant up and realize that there is a huge cut into my knee. Then my cousin rush me back into my house and told my dad about it. He then drove me to a hospital and the doctor then sew up my cut.
– This story reminds me of when my cousin walk then accidently bump her head into something. And her head bleed alot.
– This part relate to the part that came before it was because before he went deep into the forest he sneak through the community to come to this place.

1. I actually feel bad for Rosemary, the little girl couldn’t handle the pain so she decided to walk away (or give up). Which I can relate to another story I’ve read. The girl in the story I’ve read that she was in an abusive family for her whole life. Later, she made up her mind to leave her dad. (Which is an alcoholic, gambled addict, and don’t even have dignity. The guy who was beaten his own daughter, wife). At the end, the father was arrested. (If you are interest,the story is called: Home. But you have to download an app to read it). Another thing I can relate to: Is there’s a girl, she have been bullied in the elementary school. Those damaged her so much, she decided move to this new school. And no one in her old school ever see her again. I think the job “Receiver of Memory” is really cruel. Because one person have to handle pains and suffers from the whole community. Also, I think this shows the dark side of this ‘perfect’ society. Just like South Korea. They banned all social media, citizens’ right just because they wanted their country to be perfect. I mean…what goes around, comes around.
2. If I was Jonas, I would be disgusted. (Probably even more, because my dad job is to heal people, not kill them). I can relate this to another story that I’ve read. The end part of Home, the girl knew that he father shot her only friend. This was the last straw for her. Later he was arrested and rot in prison.

I have several connections with my world and Jonas world after I read chapter 14-16. First connection that I made is that Jonas’s dream about the battlefield is like some countries in our world, mostly in the Middle East, there are war going on. People are dying everyday. Screams, yelling, the sound of guns, it all happened. The soldier get killed, or get injured, just like Jonas feeling the pain on his arm. Another connection that I have is that I have grandparents, just like in Jonas’s memory. But sad, now he doesn’t have grandaparents anymore. The last connection that I made is that when families gathered around, I thought of christmas, where everyone gather around and share food, love. A writer that I connect with is Suzanne Collins, the author of “The Hunger Games”. Her writing matches with “The Giver” because in her books, Katniss is going through many pains during the games, and Jonas also have pains when he got memories.

I think he will be panic, because these might be too horrible for him, and maybe this is when last receiver had fail.So that why the giver said sorry and worry before that. The mood is boring and horrible as what i felt. I think something big is happening. Jonas in this section is a bit passive, and he had receive a lot of thing that might over range for him. “The Giver looked away, as if he could not bear to see what he had done to Jonas. “Forgive me,” he said.” It made me feel excited and interesting to read next chapter but I am to lazy to read. This section this kind of better than other section.
